Relate to generate
Believability + enthusiasm + honesty = peaking customer interest and desire.
Not all products and services are necessary to live a fully functional life.
This is where a writer shines the light on the ‘want’, motivating individuals to feel they can’t live without what’s on offer.
Teasing the customer with possibility. Impatient to make a purchase.
Then there are the inquisitive shoppers open to investigate. Walking closer to your product and service. Looking to be convinced.
Showing off product knowledge
There is a difference between a sales pitch and sharing information.
Highlighting how others have utilised and benefited from owning your goods.
We want the reader drawn in not just skimming the post but committed.
Belief is a powerful outfit easy to recognise. Enthusiasm grabs attention and honesty allows the consumer to factor in the benefits.
Teaching people how a product and service can exist in their world.
Your brand should linger in a person's thought process long after they have spent time considering the merchandise.
Planting seeds in minds without manipulation.
Individuals will always want more for themselves and their people.
A writer needs to appeal to these factors.
“There’s a lot of information out there for free, so you’ve got to figure out what makes your information different.” – Matt Wolfe, American Blogger
Standing out amongst the competition
There are so many different versions of similar merchandise.
What can make your brand stand out amongst the crowd?
Stimulation of the senses.
Presentation – pleasing to the eye.
Captivation of the mind.
Touch – Displays, experience & samples.
Sound – when the consumer hears your brand name, will it generate a positive emotion?
A writer must be able to convey all this in words.
“People do not buy goods and services. They buy relations, stories and magic.” – Seth Godin, American Author.
Blog Posts, Emails & Newsletters
Blogger and freelance writer with a motivational edge. We are all emotionally driven. I have a gift for combining a product and service with a psychological need. Engaging the reader with stimulating content. As a natural storyteller, I create pictures in the reader’s mind. The post comes to life allowing the consumer to identify with the product.
When a post stirs emotion the reader does more than just browse. They pay closer attention. No matter the subject, setting the scene and giving the post a mood speaks to an individual's senses.
Don’t be flippant with email addresses!
No matter what a subscriber is into, a barrage of content landing in their ‘inbox’ is not doing anyone any favours. Quality content is the key. There is only a small window of opportunity to remain relevant. If it's abused, the sight of an email address can be the cause of irritation.
We scan our ‘inbox’ skimming the subject matter and addresses. Looking for the urgent, the interesting and the ‘I can’t wait to open’.
- How many emails do you receive a day?
- How many emails do you subscribe to with the intention of reading? They sit in your ‘inbox’ for a while. These emails have a 50/50 % chance of receiving attention. This all depends on your mood and how much time you have on your hands.
- The spam folder; is not just a home for intrusive door knockers. It’s a graveyard for brands careless in their marketing. A reader annoyed by overkill.
If a profile is considered prime real estate, then an email address is the key to the city.
Five email actions
- The reader opens your email. We need to maintain this level of interest.
- The reader scrolls on by – there's a possibility the post will be checked out at a later date. The immediate urgency has disappeared.
- The reader sees an email address and deletes it instantly. They may show up on the website when they need something.
- The reader blocks the email address – these brands have lost the consumer. Even those posts with special offers won’t be considered now.
- The reader Unsubscribed – motivated to go to the website to ensure the brand no longer arrives in their ‘inbox’.
Presence without the frustration
Automation has made light work for overzealous marketing strategies. Separate yourself from the crowd.
Confident companies don’t need to deliver average content regularly. A less-is-more approach respects the value of access and understands bombarding an ‘inbox’ is not the best way of promoting a brand claiming to know its worth. ‘Them again’ attached to the feeling of frustration is not a positive outcome.
I write engaging content for the people, keeping your email address alive. You want your brand to stand out, and readers eager to grab a moment to absorb what's been delivered. Posts, conjuring up curiosity upon arrival. That’s the type of substance you want delivered every time.
I produce layouts that meet your requirements. Spending time developing images for the mind and stirring emotions, connecting the brand and consumer. Knocking at the subconscious; generating the grounds for further inquiry. Hit the links below for further stimulation: -
- Blog posts – check out my website, you won’t leave without taking something new away with you.
- Interviews – getting to know an individual. One must dig a little deeper to break through the surface.
- Reviews – Highlighting the pros and cons of products and the service industry for the sake of improvement, adjustment and celebration.
- Funny – There is never a better time for a giggle.
- Tough topics, such as domestic violence, addiction and call centre training.
- Customer Service – my favourite subject matter. The underdogs of our service industries. The most physically taxing jobs and yet the lowest-paid workers. The behind-the-scenes heroes.
- Report Writing – an experienced mystery shopper (my index finger is vertically placed across my lips asking for a mum’s the word promise for discretion. I can’t say much as my cover has already been blown).
I am a blog writer who firmly believes in the benefit of sharing ideas. Reliable information rewires an existing perception. Combining acquired knowledge and experience with current up-to-date products and/or services.

Customers
My skill set crosses that threshold grabbing those who aren’t normally an option. Individuals have unique likes and dislikes, making most products and services niche items. My writing interests not just the faithful customer but those sitting on the fence.
Demanding more of the industry pie with those who would not normally consider what’s on offer. At minimum arousing curiosity.
